McCann and social media
« on June 27, 2018, 08:57:02 pm by Arsenal Of The North »
Ok so am I right in thinking this is probably our first ever manager who has social media? The lads on twitter and by the looks of it very active with it too, be interesting to see what he puts come win draw or lose,

On a side note he says on twitter he came very close to signing for Barnsle. That was dated 12/06/2018 I think

It’s not always the right thing to build a media profile until you have something to show. So far his managerial life is still short . His playing profile was good and respected. If he hits the ground running at the Keepmoat with good results then he could see a lot of positives . I would have thought the after match comments would be enough for now .

It's what happens on the field that counts, not social media.

Interesting that we have had Penney (English),an Irishman, two Welshmen and two Scots as managers. just missing the Northern Irish for the full set, which we have now.

One of our greatest managers was from Northern Ireland - Peter Doherty.

Dickov only went onto Twitter after he left us.

He would be absolutely insane to remain on there and interact with our supporters. He needs to close it down now for his own sake.

I couldn't agree more.
Judging by some of the comments on here over the last 48 hours, God help him.

You'd genuinely fear for some people's wellbeing if you saw some of the stuff that comes out on the facebook group.

Sorry to be a little pedantic PDX_rover.  I think that you’ll find that Belfast the birthplace of our new manager is in Northern Ireland

Was that O'Driscoll? Played internationally for ROI didn't he? Can't guarantee that he had actually visited the place before then though ;)

Hmm, I suppose on a technicality, though that's like saying Andy Townsend is Irish!
