Strikers
« on January 01, 2019, 12:21:22 pm by Barmby Rover »
So we now have for the front three Copps, Marquis, Wilks, May, Taylor, Sadlier, Smith at the club, with Beestin and Kiwomya out on loan currently, and for right back we have (uninjured) Blair and Lund, are we a little overbalanced? Is GM becoming a bit like Warnock, who used to collect strikers like ciggy cards?

That's one position with 3 players covering (including injured), and 3 positions with 7 covering - plus the 2 on loan and Boocock that you missed. Arguably tis the same coverage.

I would like to think he wins as much as Warnock has  over his career starting with Doncaster Rovers.
If he does he can have as many strikers as he wants.

Iv always thought over the years we’ve never really had enough options up front. I’m excited to see how it pans out. I suspect Alfie May will be the one it costs the most

If GM is like Warnock thats not a bad thing imo not like Warnocks been starved of success in the football league!

Personally for a defender i think its more important to be settled in the team than for a striker where competition is a bit more valuable
