Get Sully back, bet he would get us through injury time

McCann won't be bringing anyone else in. Were going with Marosi and Jones.

It wasn’t marko’s fault though

Can blame Marosi for either Burton goal. Both soft goals.

None of our keepers fill me with confidence. Needs sorting in the summer

I prefer Marosi anyway, but it is a shame for Lawlor after he had won his place back in the side.

Not sure how Marosi could have saved that first one.
A corner beautifully chipped to the near post, out of his reach, then the overhead shot into the top corner, also out of his reach.

Marosi stood and watched the first goal, never moved.

Agreed, there was nothing he could have done about it.
The Burton keeper did the same for both of our goals.

They must be instructing the keeper to stay within a certain area (not the penalty area before some smart arse chirps up) because Marosi was a lot more mobile before he got dropped.

I’m not having that any criticism of Marko for the first goal is spurious to say the least - Marko was correctly positioned for 99% of eventualities but Brayford somehow managed to place the ball into the only area not protected - never a keeper error

Yes, an element of luck involved with that. Can't blame Marosi.

Not sure whether he should have got to their equaliser though. At least Marco came out a couple of times to catch and one very good punch.

Looking at their equaliser again on Sky Highlights I think Marosi could have done better. It wasn't a bullet header and he was that side of the goal. Not sure who left their player, either Anderson or Whiteman but they anticipated the knock back wrongly leaving the player unmarked.

We can apportion blame to Keepers and defenders for that matter nearly every time we concede

Some of them got slated last week as we threw away a 2 goal lead. Today we lost a 2- lead but at Wycombe we missed 2 or 3 good (very good) chances - one when we had just gone back to 2-1 which would have made it 3-1 with 8 minutes left

Today we missed 2 tremendous chances and could have been 4-1 up and bagged 3 points so in bith cases Strikers or those missing the chances are as culpable as the defenders / Keepers though they never seem to get as much flack imo

Totally agree Wolfie.
Also, no one has mentioned that their keeper didn’t move to try to stop either of our goals.

Awful criticism, seriously? Brayford has hooked a 1-in-100 effort facing away from the goal and marked, right into the corner. Marosi can't do anything about that.

Not at fault today Marko for me. The 2nd goal is all about our marking everyone gets sucked under the ball and leaves the centre half to score. I know it wasn't exactly a bullet header but with so many bodies in the way it doesn't need to be

I expect Lawlor is the player who is signing a new contract tomorrow. With his good arm obviously.

I don't think there's any need to get another keeper.  Jones looks more than capable when warming up the team before games.  It's a shame we are still not in the checker trade so he could get a game.  I can't imagine he will come for cup games like lawlor and Marosi.   It could be his chance to prove himself.

Any remaining cup games we have are likely to be really big ones so I doubt whether we would put Jones in goal for those, as you rightly say.
He will play in development games though.
