Funnily enough my lad was asked a few weeks ago at work, by someone 'in the know' at Harrogate Town if we had a young (Northern) Irish left back. This was a couple of days after Grant McCann had said young Danny would be going out on loan. Town's regular left back this season (albeit he's really a centre half) was on a 6 month loan from Leeds which was coming to an end, plus he was suspended so Danny to Town would have fit. Subsequently the lad from Leeds has signed for Town for the rest of the season, so Danny was possibly an option had he not.

Kitching who you mention is on loan from Leeds played at centre back yesterday which I think is his preferred position ( instead of left back ) Burrell who is a right back played left back, so Amos would have been a very good fit for Town.
Totally a waste of time going to Poole’s if he is going to sit on the bench.

Correct Campsall.
As you'll know Kitching spent the latter part of last season on loan at Town, playing as a centre half, (funnilly enough alongside Burrell) and until his suspension all of this season at left back. Warren Burrell is so versatile though it hasn't surprised me he's done well in the last four games covering at left back. Kitching had done OK, although there was quite a few Town fan's bemoaning not having a natural left back in the side at the AFC Fylde game the other week. I agree young Danny would have been a better fit and would have relished playing there for Town.

I was at the Fylde game.
Yesterday not one left footed player started for Town as Leesley was on the bench.
Amos and Leesley together on the left would cause big problems for opposing teams in that league imo.

Towns manager isn't sure if Amos is good enough defensively

I hope for Danny he can get games and Develop. Majority of the young lads who have gone to other clubs on loan have not developed and put pressure on the first team.
