ON a serious note, it doesn't look from from that replay that it actually hits the defender's arm. Yet, at the same time he's clearly gone with the intent to hit it away with his arm.

Hard to say definitively. But it *looked* like it so I'll take that, particularly given that the free kick for their goals was their lad tripping over his team-mate (seriously) with the ref behind play.
