I can't believe Sunderland have sold the lad, it looks like one of the worst pieces of business I've ever witnessed from a club in their current league position. If they are going to have to spend all or nearly all of the money from the transfer to replace him then why sell him in the first place? Yes he could walk for nothing in the summer but promotion back to the Championship would more than make up for that. I couldn't see the lad downing tools either, the same clubs would of been fighting for his signature in 6 months time! Utter madness!
