1. Relegation was a good thing. It enabled us to get rid of players and rebuild into what we are now.2. Anyone who thinks promotion from League Two was a given is very simple.

But we were head and shoulders better than everyone in that league imo. Only Pompey, Plymouth & Luton were even reasonably decent sides.

Surprised to see such an arrogance about it, and Darren Ferguson should be commended for assembling the squad he did and getting us promoted with relative ease from that division.I don't really like Ferguson and was never massively enamoured by his time here, but he deserves the credit for that achievement 100%.
