Spoke to a few Charlton fans tonight and they were all sound.

Which ever team doesn't go up will be in trouble next season. Spoke to some Charlton fans at train station, they're worried if they don't go up, as half their team are on loan, they will struggle next season.
As for sunlund, we had a decent chat with Charlie, one of their directors in the fan park before the game. He told us straight if they don't go up this year, several players will have to be moved on as they won't be able to pay their extra large wages.
Out of the two, I'd like Charlton to go up, not just because Bowyer went into our changing room to congratulate our players after the game. Because sunlund are so massive, it'll be a pleasure to beat them.

We were amazing last night, I don't think I've ever felt prouder. No bitterness as Charlton did well to hang on and pens can go either way.

He guys in the white track suits, were they the ones getting the fans to keep the ball st one point? That was quite funny but no excuse for attacking our dug out, nob heads.

Onwards and upwards. I reckon we've a great chance of storming this league next season and being much better placed for the Championship.

I had to walk right round the ground back to my car and a lot of charlton fans spoke to me and were all very complimentary. A lot shook my hand and wished me a safe journey home. I didn’t hear one bad word said

That's just how it should be scooter too - there isn't any need for animosity . Especially last night when BOTH sets of fans will share the memory of such a great game for the rest of their lives. Whether in Charlton or Donny , folk will speak about that game for decades to come - so close, so finely balanced but a thrilling game .
They WON'T remember the nobbie nobheads that didn't know how to behave - they will be as irrelevant as they should be now.

You are always going to get a few idiots in your fan base and we are no exception. You players and supporters did you proud last night. As I was getting back to my car I told a few of yours I passed that I thought they deserved to go through, and well done and they wished us well in the final. Some fans will think that isn't what football is about, but it is absolutely what it is about. That game could have gone either way and the luck fell our way.

Things I thought made the difference from your perspective yesterday were - your first goal was terrific and it made us more nervous than we have been all season. You didn't allow us to settle into our game after that and the match became a battle.

Your keeper slipped for our equaliser in extra time. He would have easily dealt with the ball in otherwise.

I knew Marquis was likely to miss. You could see him cramping up just before he took the pen. Never take a pen if you are cramping up.
