It was not as damaging as the 97/98 season but it ranks pretty close in terms of being utterly shambolic. It must have been a close call whether we used more players in 97/98 season or 11/12 season.

One of the most embarrassing displays i have ever seen from a Rovers team. Diouf took every free kick we had, even ones on the edge of our own penalty area which the keeper should have been taking.
Diouf spent the entire huddle before the kick off wagging his finger at all the team. No one was listening. He was not liked and had no respect from the other players. We had lost that match before we kicked off.

In fairness he was a youngster when with us wasn't he and ha to mature as a player, but one goal like that does not make him a good player now

The “experiment” was a disaster, created cliques within the camp. Team spirit was non existent.

Remember that one wasn’t it late 80’s though.

Utley was in the youth team a couple of years above me, so definitely can’t have been in the 80s.
