I dont think that article gives anything away at all..
Clarke is a decent player at this level but he's 34 and been sat doing nothing on big big wages I doubt his motivation would be at it's highest.. I'm so disappointed with Rovers recruitment, yes we will be turning out a decent team for games but so far we've stuck sticking plasters on again.We've actually invested nothing in our own development just loans and more loans..We've spent nothing on owning our own talent that we can develop,benefit from on the pitch and resell for a return later on... Whilst Bury and Oldham have proved that overspending is very dangerous there is a balance to be had..Once again we find ourselves working hard,developing players for other clubs benefit and come next summer wont have a actual squad to build on....
The new element for me is that LC is now on Premiership wages so a step up from last season .That clearly plays In favour of us trying to get him on loan with a participation in his wage .He is unlikely to accept any drop in wages and can sit his contact out Gateth Bale style .
