I don’t like it, but a foul on the winger on the half way line with other defenders in the middle, is only going to be a yellow card..

We lost because we were pushing for the win..  I can handle that.

Me too.  I wrote a lengthy piece on here over 10 years ago about going for it int he last 10 minutes of games when we are drawing.  The general thrust was that you will get undone once in a while on the break but the rewards outweigh the risks of just settling for the draw or the odd defeat.  That game was there for the taking in the last 10 minutes.  We were in the ascendancy and were building great pressure.  I'm perfectly happy we went to try and win it and accept that sometimes it bites you.

Good point Rob, emphasised by the fact that we were at home. The only time we should consider settling for a draw in the last 10 minutes is when we're away. Even then, it depends on who we're playing, and how we're performing. For example, we went balls out for it at Oakwell in the final 10 minutes last season, and were unlucky not to win.

Just seen the highlight clip.  No way James could reach their player even to foul, and maybe the keeper could have done better, but never mind.. it’s  in the past now..

Don't Know what highlight clip you are watching but James could definitely have go a tackle in if just to clip his heels.

Think it was a sky sports clip on Twitter.. looks like James is nowhere near close enough for a tackle or foul..

Me too, and I wouldn’t have objected to James bringing down the winger.
The ref showed us all game that he was reluctant to bring a card out of his pocket and as there were other defenders making their way back, he would not have shown a red one.
