For crying out loud!
« on September 23, 2019, 04:07:31 pm by sha66y »
Will posters stop referring to the Blackpool game as a genuine defeat....yes we lost the game with the team that played....but we all know that wasn’t our strongest line up.....
If the line up that played on Saturday ( our strongest line up) had played against that shower of sh#t called Blackpool, I dare say we would have mullered them too....

It was a misjudgement at best and a good learning curve to rubber stamp what we all know....lol

So we get the points or to replay? i get what your saying but a defeat is a defeat.

If we learn from it and push on further again then it's no big deal. But the players have to hurt hard after every defeat of draw or else it becomes acceptable especially at home.

Look at the league table, we quite clearly have one chalked up in the losses column. Of course it’s a genuine defeat, and excusing it by saying it wasn’t our strongest line up when the only difference is Copps* is laughable. Will goals against us not count if Copps is off the pitch?!

*granted the keeper is now different but the jury’s out on which one is better right now

Not excusing it ....the manager got it wrong on the night, (not deliberately mind....) ...and then selected the correct line up which EVERYONE knows is the strongest.....yes it’s a defeat but not one to be used as an example of how we can be beaten.....

Hmm not sure the manager got it wrong. We can't play the exact same team (our strongest) for every game of the season, especially when we've got midweek games. Copps is 38, as much as I want him to, he can't play every minute of every game.

Blackpool did a job on us, came with a game plan stuck to it and walked away with 3 points

They did a job but had we scored first as we could and possibly should have done their game plan would have had to change.
That might have given us far more space.
