Everyone who has given their opinion on that story of the kid in A&E.

Read this..

https://bylinetimes.com/2019/12/10/trolls-sock-puppets-and-useful-idiots-an-anatomy-of-an-election-disinformation-campaign/

This is what the Tories are doing to our democracy. It's NOT both sides. It's one side. Every time.

88% of Tory ads have been shown to be misleading in the GE campaign.

0% of Labour ads are misleading.

BBC headline: "General Election 2019: Ads are dishonest and untruthful."

No mention of the Tories. The BBC simply maintains the pretence of balance. We need a public inquiry.

By the way. The Tories' disinformation is working. We have folk on here repeating the precise words of the lies put out on social media.

Saw this article, could barely believe it. 88% of Tory ads are misleading. 0% of Labour ads are misleading. Auntie Beeb says all election ads are misleading in the interest of "balance". It seems like the BBC isn't interested in finding the truth anymore, they're interested in people arguing the toss. And then you wonder why threads in here always end up the way they do. It's across the country. I really struggle to think how we recover from this.

The social media issue just took a sinister turn;

The timing of this is very suspect.

The full FT article is here;

Try it, but I am not sure if it is behind their paywall.

How does Laura Kuensberg know how the postal votes are looking - when they are not supposed to have been opened yet? And certainly should never be shown to journalists who then comment 'how they are looking for a particular party?
