Just to change away from politics
Not been a big reader in the past ,so has anyone got any good suggestions of any books?
Currently listening to a Joe abercrombie  book.
I suppose fantasy my favourite read
But open to suggestions would maybe like a good writer who puts a twist or two
Into a story? Or any good read? Cheers

I've really got into Simon Scarrow it's a series of fiction books based on the lives of a couple of soldiers in the Roman Legions but they are filled with plot twists and are excellent..Worth a try

The century trilogy by Ken Follett about five families interwoven throughout the last century
  Fall of Giants
  Winter of the World
  Edge of Eternity
  in that order
Can be obtained on audio I thought them brilliant, although a big read I couldn't put them down.

I recently read all three of the trilogy in order Bob. It was a bit daunting when you see how many pages there are in each volume.
I really enjoyed them though and finished the last one on holiday. I did get two of mine in charity shops and a used one on Amazon though to keep the cost down.
