Hound.

Apologies. That reply was aimed at WC.

BB. Of course, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt in assuming that you actually wanted anything other than to argue.

You are correct sir, I wasn’t looking for an argument, not even the five minute one.

Yes, it must be a terrible sacrifice for someone like you who doesn't like arguing to volunteer yourself to argue with every post I make.

You deserve a big group hug from your cronies.

Where are they by the way?

Now that you've proved you can say it, how about saying it to the right people?

And round we go again.

BB starts off with that d**khead Remoaner line, then gets arsey when people pick him up.

Almost as if all that he wants is an argument...

Where did I say d**khead?

Where did I say I get arsey when people "pick on me?"

Pick on me? I love people "Picking on me!" Pick on me if you think you're hard enough!

Bring it on!

Like I said. Nothing more unpleasant that an ungracious winner.

One day you'll grow up BB. You've spent years complaining about perceived slights yet you continue to pour them out yourself. It is embarrassing to witness.

I desperately hope Brexit is a success. I know you want everyone you disagree with to by a hypocrite who wants it to fail so they can say "I told you so", but the real world ain't like that. I want us to live in a happy, content, wealthy, tolerant, positive country, and if that's where the next five years takes us, I'll be delighted to say that I was wrong.

If we end up with 5 years of depressed economic performance, more intolerance towards other opinions, and a continued increase in ethnically and racially motivated abuse and violence, I'm sure you'll be the first to admit that maybe you called it wrong.

I haven’t read Bentley Bullet’s response to this post yet but, sadly, I can probably guess the main thrust of it.

I just wanted to applaud you for this contribution BST.
Well put.

Here's one that might be a bit too old for a few on here.

It's my Party and I'll cry if I want to, cry if I want to, cry if I want to. You would cry too if it happened to you.

Appropriate though don't you think?

I'm sure BST will be well pleased with that well deserved support Pancho. You're so right in not even reading my response.

Well done to both of you. You should be very proud.

Hound.

As I've said a hundred times, the problem with the 2016 vote is that "Leave" wasn't a single, defined thing. It was an umbrella term covering an almost infinite range of things. That's why it is idiotic to take the result as the final word. It was a binary choice on a non-binary question.

But that issue is done now. The decision has been made. So it's time for us all to stop looking back and start looking forward. In particular, it's time for those who have insisted we should leave to accept that they have won, and that they now own the consequences of that victory.

Billy I can't disagree with much of that. However the labour party didn't want to talk brexit at this election. They did everything they could to avoid the subject. So when you said you hadn't heard a single constructive argument not to have a second referendum. They didn't give much of a constructive argument to have one either.

Rightly or wrongly Labour leavers believed their own party was trying to block what they had voted for.I accept that the vast majority probably didn't know what they were voting in the first place but when it came to voting that's what they still believed...
