Darren Moore is doing a fantastic job at this football club. The professionalism is beginning to take shape down to the youth sides as well as the two senior teams and the u18s who are based at Cantley. with the teams proving of a better standard and getting good results throughout the age  groups. Hopefully a few of these young players will push through eventually to play for the first team.
My only hope is that unlike the two managers who preceded him, other clubs higher up the pecking order will overlook the good work he is doing here building a young competitive side long enough for things to come to fruition, and when the time comes our club have learned their lesson from past events and have clauses in place that at least find us financially recompensed very well for losing a manager and staff who are revolutionising our club playing wise from top to bottom.

Darren has done a fantastic job so far all things considered like joining after pre season had started, having to assemble his back room staff, bringing in new players right for the rest of the team, changing formation and tactics.

When I listen to his interviews he does really come across like he wants to be here for the long term hence the building up of the u23 squad getting them to push on for the first team, extending contract of Ben and Big Tom bringing in young players with potential but who have also played at this level in Cole and Okenabirhie.

After what happened at West Brom I think he would be more reluctant to jump ship he knows we are a well run club and we share the same morals and ideals and won’t sack a manager just because of a bit of poor form.

If he stays I think he is someone that could take us to the next level

:that: I was thinking exactly the same. Getting sacked is never pleasant and I'm sure that our board is far more patient than most if not all others.

Hard to be unhappy with what DM has done so far.

Some aspects have been frustrating at times, but given the circumstances and what he’s had at his disposal, i think he’s worked wonders to have us in the play-off mix at this stage of the season. I think the team has a clear identity in terms of playing style as well, which is always good to see. Not all managers can do that.

Hopefully he will be here for the long-term and can keep building the sort of team he wants.
