He has a sense of humour, he has got a great personality, he has got fantastic motivational skills, he has got a pretty good track record at getting teams promoted.
Apart from that he is a rubbish manager.  ;)

He almost destroyed Wall. He got us to the point of relegation, wouldn't stand down so he got his pay off and when Neil Harris took over said it was Harris who took them down. He ruined young players, mad cap team selections. It took the best part of three years to get over the mess he left behind him. One of the worst managers we have had and that's saying something.

I like him,at least you wont be left confused wondering if you were at the same match as your manager when he's in charge when it comes to those after match interviews.lol.If they were rubbish he will tell them, and then tell you...Proper old school..And ideal for a club like Grimsby..

Calls a spade a spade. Says it at he sees it. A bit like Warnock as a manager. No great tactician but gets ave players playing above their level with motivational one to one management.

Holloway is a bit of a gamble as he has been out of the game for a while and he is possibly past is best at a manager now, must be 65yrs old at a guess.
Still think he will do a job at a club like Grimsby and will not be betting against him achieving a top 7 finish next season.
