Dream team - football (but not Rovers) related

Was sent this yesterday and think it’s an excellent question worth sharing. What’s the best team that you can put together based on the following...

- Must have played professionally during your lifetime (better yet during your football supporting lifetime)
- No two players can be the same nationality
- No two players can have ever played for the same club, even if they’ve played at different times

For example, picking Cristiano Ronaldo would mean you couldn’t pick any more Portuguese players, or anyone else who has played for Real, Man U or Juventus.

Think it definitely favours the older generation as it gives you a wider scope for players who also didn’t tend to move around as much, but can still put together a great team from the past 30 years!

Decent effort but a bit of club crossover - Modric & White both played at Spurs, Modric & Puskas for Real Madrid (Beckenbauer & Pele both at NY Cosmos as well I believe!)

I'd (maybe wrongly) assumed Ronaldo as Ronaldo, the Brazilian - my personal favourite Ronaldo. Though he played at Inter as did Vidic.

It's not easy, I spent ages on this yesterday and whenever I got close I realised X & Y had both played for Z...

Remember watching Masopust in the 62 World Cup in Chile , think he was captain of the Czech side ..........and my 11th man is Paul Van Himst of Belgium ...

Had to abandon one of my combinations when I realised that both players were in the Escape to Victory side !!
