Just seen a band called Prevention. They're a tribute band of The Cure. In fact, they're actually better.

Their early stuff was the best.. I lost interest after about 1984..

Favourite track is A Forest, but anything from Boys Don’t Cry to Love Cats/Caterpillar is my era..

My favourite album of theirs is Faith, it really suits Smith's voice.

I got chatting about music to a bloke in a pub just round the corner from me a few years back and he asked me if I had seen the AC/DC covers band Hells Bells. I said no are they any good? He then told me he was Angus in the band.

He was about 6ft 2in.

They were quite good though when I did see them

I saw an Elbow tribute act called Arse. You couldn't tell them apart.
