You would think that the caterers would prefer it as it cuts down any chance of taking money from the till. It would also make cashing up easier and probably reduce their insurance premiums with handling and banking less cash.

Apart from the catering staff and the programme and Red&White tickets I dare say that 75% things bought at the Keepmoat are paid for by card .

Its an infrastructure issue, otherwise card payments would be at all tills.

Card entry instead of books of tickets for ST holders at turnstiles would also be a good thing.  Again, an infrastructure issue I guess.

Portsmouth have decided to reimburse STH the full amount for their 4 remaining games (Pro Rata).
Giving them 3 Options.

 1) Either credit can be used when purchasing future season tickets or match-day tickets.

 2) Fans can have money returned to their bank account .

 3) Donate the money to the club to help financially.

This seems like a fair way of dealing with the situation.

Yep, it does seem fair.
It gives fans a choice.

Card season tickets are a good shout.

Maybe worth announcing the kit for next season sooner rather than later and opening up pre-orders so the club can bring in some money that way.

I think you'll find the DRFC options will be even better. I'm sure the club will announce the details shortly.

What about a loyalty-choice model.

Current season ticket holders

Choice 1: Loyalty level 1. Next year's season ticket at 299/259/239 (to compensate for this year)
Choice 2: Loyalty level 2. Next year's season ticket at current prices 399/359/339
Choice 3: Loyalty level 3. Next year's season ticket at enhanced prices 499/459/439

Loyalty level 2 - Gets a free home shirt plus other benefits.
Loyalty level 2 - Gets a free hospitality pass for 2 people for one game. Free home shirt. Plus two free matchday tickets.

New season ticket holders are offered level 3 and 4.

Surely it would make sense to offer more off next seasons season ticket than the refund so more buy season tickets than opt for refunds?

When you say "decided", do you mean what they are legally obliged to do?

It's not a case of if but when the club offer a full refund for the 4 remaining games...

The options that they may offer in lieu of said refund hopefully may sway some folk into not persuing a cash refund, as we are all aware of the current situation.

I won't be accepting any cash refunds, but if there were options in lieu of, I'd take a look of course...

I would imagine most have already bought next seasons.
