Spurs v Man Utd
« on June 20, 2020, 11:44:16 am by phil old leake »
Did anyone else think it was bazaar how at the end of the game all the players didn’t shake hands but fist pumped or elbow knocked and then some went on to touch hands on faces
Mourhino was bang at it
Doesn’t bother me one way or the other they’ve all been tested prior to the game so should be safe
I just thought they were going to impose strict guidelines

I thought it was all a bit inconsistent. Goal scorers getting hugged by some and not by others. Spitting, which was also deemed forbidden, but it didn't stop anybody.

Haven't they all been tested anyway? If so nothing to pass on. Obviously not a good example to set like.

Also what's this water break all about it was 15 degrees and raining at one point?

The water break is surely an ad opportunity. Not that I saw it used that way on the channel I watched. On some Italian and Spanish games I saw ads used when players went down injured.

The water break is a good idea for me.  Particularly next week when the weather is forecast to be hot, it is a good introduction and welcomed by the players.
As for the elbow shakes at the end of the match, it is quite ridiculous when some do it as they should and then go one step further with an arm slap and then with the next player they go for a head slap and then a hug.... Where will it end?  They’ll be kissing next!!
