It's that time of the year( given a month or two) and those imortal words are ringing again 3 signing lined up and Darren pops up with a reading out of the rovers  A to Z of football... Just love it

It’s only the big clubs and the teams throwing the money about who get their business done early, then everyone fights over the scraps, it’s the nature of the beast.

Everything is a bit different this year. I think we just have to focus on coming through this tough period and having a team to support at the other side of it. Yeah it’s frustrating waiting sometimes, but this is a hard time for the club and now more than ever we have to take care with our commitments.

Definitely. Sometimes it easy to get distracted on what we haven't got rather than appreciate what we have got. We still have some very good players for this league.

We've just got to trust DM to fill the gaps however he sees fit. Something old, something new, something borrowed something blue? (Chelsea, Everton?)

Couldn’t agree more, but we just don’t have enough of them!  ;)

Gavin Baldwin addresses the transfer / contracts predicament here:

To be honest I think that’s fair game in the current position and that kind of honesty about where we are, and why, is the best way of managing expectations.

We can say that every pre-season at this stage until we get the loans sorted out and any of the triallists if they impress.
