Don’t see how Richards has got 2 votes. Apart from a couple of flashes of great skill i thought he was poor. He went missing and looked a little lost at his role in the team.

Against Bradford City he was excellent.

Everyone sees things differently of course. No right or wrongs, just opinions.
But to vote him ahead of Gomes, Whiteman, Halliday, Anderson, Wright, and the other 5 starters for that matter amazes me.  Just my opinion.  ;)

He got back and saved a certain goal just before half time.

But tbh didn't think anyone really stood out Gomes maybe the best of a bad bunch

I thought the only part of the team that functioned well was the back four and the keeper,
And Halliday and James  offered as much going forward as any of the mid fielders including Gomes who lost the ball quite a bit to me when challenged man on man and has to show more determination at times.
I am not saying he was poor, as he wasn't but I think the others had a better game as their mid-field dominated play.

I agree Brian, which is why I'm the one that's voted for Bursik. Apart from a couple of poor distributions, I thought he was excellent.

He made something like 7 out of 8 tackles, including one stopping a certain goal, you can't ask for much more. Playing in the position he did I think he did pretty well and his technical footwork allowed us to keep the ball at times when we really needed it.

That makes two of us SS.

Gomes grew into the game but for the first half he was poor. Regularly not closing down and allowing opposition midfielders to push up and into our defensive line.

Took his goal very well and definitely stepped up in the 2nd half but for me, Bursik was comfortably our MoM.

I  agree with RM about Taylor too. Even though he was our furthest forward midfielder, he made several key tackles to break up attacks, including THAT one on half time which was astonishing.
