God we’ve been dreadful
Playing against a good side.

We have given some sloppy passes outside the Hull penalty area and seconds later Hull are attacking at the other end.
We are our own worst enemy at times. Need to get support to Ferji much quicker.

What is Reece James doing. He is wandering around like a lost sheep tonight. Hardly seen Richards.

Please DM put James in his proper position out wide either at full back or wide in a 3 behind striker.
He is not a centre midfielder.

Why is it we can see it but DM persists with it.  Sure he will change it 2nd half. He has to.

How many times do contentious Free kicks turn into goals for the opposition

Looked minimal contact on Wilks

No problem 33 to 1 Hull HT Rovers FT... Just got to get them to swap shirts as it doesn't look likely
Agree. No contact from Wright. Wilks conned a weak Ref.

He needs to change something at HT, we’re lucky not to be 3 or 4 down !

Two clean sheets in 13 league games this season. That is pretty poor.

Campsall mate yes they are a good side but 1 we gave the ball away all the time 2 when we did have the ball we bint know what to do with it in final third and 3 the keeper made one hell of a howler

Well much better 2nd half. We took the game to them and putting on an extra striker nearly worked.
Reece James much much better 2nd half. He must have had a rollicking at half time.

Really feel for Lumley as he made some outstanding saves.

Always going to be a tough one. We move on and now have a great opportunity to put a run of positive results together.

I did not say it was the perfect performance did I. Yes 1st half we gave the ball away far too cheap and did not get enough bodies forward quick enough. 2nd half was a different ball game.

Just a bit of perspective is needed. We were far worse in 1st half v Blackpool and Sunderland who are not as good as Hull City.
The difference is we got a point in one and 3 in the other.

Taylor Richards just wandering around like he didn’t fancy it tonight... please get James back in at left back....Halliday got beat far too often and must have give 75% of his passes straight to a Hull player. John wasn’t far behind him, though did improve in the 2nd half. Rare off nights for Smith and Sims and Okinbirie looks like he’s played 3 divisions too high. Just not good enough... Darren please start playing players in their correct positions and change the formation because things are not working.

Our biggest enemy is inconsistency, not just from game to game, but during games also. We played well for 15 minutes either side of our goal, but that's not enough out of 90 minutes, and it would have been an injustice to Hull if we'd have snatched a draw tonight.

OK, it's no disgrace to lose to Hull; they're a bigger club than us, with a bigger squad, better players, and a better manager.

However, at the moment we're looking like a bang average mid-table team, and I desperately want to be proved wrong at the end of the season, with a top 6 finish, but I honestly can't see it.

With a better Manager. I think the Jury is out on that one SS

Sod all to do with the manager all the crap passing, 2nd touch as tackles, lack of desire to win second balls.

Lumley can pack all that card waiving in. 2 games in a row waving imaginary card. Concentrate on holding on to piggy rollers. Best thing was it was a stone wall penalty

That's not bad Retdon,we have just lost our first game in seven away to the top side in the division and we should change the set up of the team and the players and nothing is working, how do you get to that conclusion? I accept it wasn't pretty viewing but I think your reaction is just a tad an over reaction.

I am beginning to think that maybe DM isn’t as good as some posters think he might be.
In my opinion of course.

Personally I don't what's so wrong with 2-1 at Hull. It was always going to be a tough game and they have a lot of quality in their squad. Hull will probably end up top so what more do the fans expect? It could have been far worse.

Look at the league table. Plus the fact that McCann would have had us at Wembley if it hadn't have been for Marosi's slip.

Yes, he's a b*st*rd of a man, but I'm talking about his ability as a League 1 manager.

The result, I think most can accept. The performance was dreadful though - and it isn't a one off.

The current formation just isn’t working. Look at our performances, especially 1st half over the last 6-7 games. We have players being played out of position which makes us look disjointed...

Worrying to read DM thought we dominated large parts of the game and should've won it.

It certainly must have looked like a different game from down there on the touchline than it did from home.

Hopefully it's media speak and he is going to address the issues with our recent performances!

And we know what happened the last time a manager named Darren persisted with a formation that wasn't really working...

And consistently played players out of position
