Thought Reece James was outstanding.

Who needs Ben Whiteman.

Fej was excellent also.

Solid back 4 one lapse for their goal which was a bit sloppy from us.

Not the best spectacle but a gutsy 3 points. Could have gone for many, particularly Tom, Butts, Brad, Taylor Richards, & Fej did some great work aside from his goals, looked sharp & held the ball up well.
Reece James for me never put a foot wrong all game, looks like a proper centre mid now.

Got to be Fej. Worked hard, held the ball up well and his goals made the difference.

Strange isn’t it that so many supporters have been saying he isn’t good enough.

Well he showed today he is. He has put in some decent performances this season and has 9 goals 6 in the league. Yes but probably not as consistent as Marquis was yet.

On today’s showing he is every bit as good as Marquis was for us. Now if he can keep that level going he will be some player for us.
Marquis will be a distant memory.  DM knows a decent player when he sees one. Fej just needed time, something some on here don’t seem willing to give.

Most players slipped up here and there but all gave something big to todays win, lots of heart out there and some fine moments, even from the subs.

Almost as if people were commenting on what they were seeing at the time, isn't it? Good thing players' form can get better, eh.

Fej was class today and it was a great run and cool finish for the 1st goal. Nice to see Lokilo having a decent game and show a bit of heart

Taylor in last minute of added time was immense chasing them down.

The point i was making was DM didn’t sign him because he wasn’t good enough. He knew he was.

Yes proper committed, I get the feeling this team is not about individuals but each and everyone fighting for each other and the cause. Looks a real unified team with a never say die attitude.

Actually think Richards played well , He seemed to be more relaxed and played some very good balls it was as if without whiteman his shackles had been unleashed, A bit like like when Mcindoe left and copps came into his own

It's irrelevant. He also signed Devante Cole who turned out to be naff. Did he know he was good enough too?

End of the day, Fej was shite earlier in the season and people pointed that out. Get off your high horse, fans are allowed to criticise poor performances when they see one.

Totally agree, Fej has been poor for the majority   of the season so far. His performances recently though have been much better and long may that continue. The fact that a large number of fans pointed that out only strengthens the point.

Fejiri has been much better since he has moved out wide. He is not a standard 9.

Well he was central when he timed his run to perfection for the opener. Came in for a lot of unnecessary stick earlier in the season, admittedly he wasn't great at times but had played alot of games , it must be frustrating up front at times because when we're not playing well our lone striker becomes very isolated

When your own fans are against you it certainly does nothing to attach you to the club .

Also it is noticeable now that our players are getting closer to him and not leaving him as isolated as he was earlier in the season.
It isn’t a coincidence that Fej looks better now that he has got some back up in attacking positions..

I forgot that criticising poor displays meant we were against him. You have a warped idea of reality if you genuinely believe that.

The difference is he gave Cole a short term deal because he was not 100% sure about him. He wanted to give him a chance but it looks as though he has a bit of an attitude problem.

As for being on a high horse, never been on a horse in my life.
Sorry am I not allowed to think some of the criticism that Fej got was unjustified. Yes others may think it was. They are entitled to that view. Have I said they are not?
Think it’s you who needs to get off their high horse.

Well it isn’t. I am just giving my opinion. My opinion was some of the criticism was unjustified.
That doesn’t mean they are wrong. Just a different opinion about someone else’s opinion.

Peace friend ok. We are all Rovers.  :)

I think that the way criticism is phrased makes all the difference.
Constructive criticism is OK, say where you think that somebody could or needs to improve and that is fine.
Just saying that somebody is crap without taking into consideration the opposition, our team's formation and set up and possible lack of support only cheapens the criticism in many ways.
I also thought that Fej looked a little out of sorts and disinterested in his body language but the last two games have proved that there is a decent player in there if there was any doubt.
That's just my opinion of course.
