Dilemma

I have to decide on watching The start of the Rovers last game or going to watch my youngest grandson’s first ever rugby league match.  What would you lot do

Family first...this is a no-gamer...but your grandsons first milestone surely must put a smile on ya face....

I can’t believe you have to even think about this. Your youngest grandsons first foray into competitive sport?
Do the right thing buddy.
Watching him is likely to be much more entertaining too. And you’re allowed in to watch.  :bbscarf:

It’s the Mother in Laws 84th birthday, I’ve insisted we go there shortly to be back for midday, our second vaccinations were booked for 15:20 after they originally wanted to book us in for 1pm, and then I have to visit the caravan in storage before they close. Forward planning was the key. Vicar take your ipad to rugby with you and tether ii to a phone with plenty of data on it, you’ll need around 3gb of data to watch a football match

If you are only going to miss the start of the Rovers game you can do both anyway.
Grandson has to be priority.

Grandson first.
Watch the full game repeated or highlights on ifollow later.
Or if you have a portable radio and headphones listen to the live RSheff commentary whilst you encourage the lad on the pitch.

Grandson definitely, it’s a dead rubber really! And judging by what I’m watching i hope you’ve made the right decision, this is terrible!!

If you've missed the start of the game vicar I wouldn't bother with the rest. Take the grandson for ice cream or summat.

I am watching because I owe it to myself to prove how stoic I can be under extreme distress .9 points out of 54 since DM left is not only relegation form but the respect for the club’s community strategy is all that I can possibly find as a reason to watch this ‘team’.

My lads junior footy game kicked off at 11.30, no way in a million years would I have put anything ahead of it.

There's a saying..   Don't be upset cos there's ANOTHER kids footy game etc,  the time to get upset is when there's no more kids footy games on the Calender.

Dave my Grandson who is 8 almost 9 has had 2 training sessions at Bentley ARLC his very 1st taste at Rugby.
Where is your Grandson playing, just curious as wondered if he is similar age and also at Bentley.

Ok thanks. My grandson plays football for Optima under 9s which is of course at Toll Bar, even though they live near Five lane ends in Skellow.
