No one deserved it except the legend who has spent the last 17 years as our best player. He wasn’t at his best today but still head and shoulders above anyone else in red and white hoops! I just wish that free kick had gone in instead of hitting the crossbar!!

He hit the crossbar and sent one just wide so who else did that or even close to it. I was willing it to go in and was so sorry for him when it struck the bar

Very tearful interview with Copps on the bbc sport website now.
I knew it would upset him not having fans in the ground for his big farewell.
