As bad as our defence have been this season the one thing they have going for them is that none of them are registered sex offenders.

Would we want him back? Didn't the club back him based on his story which he subsequently changed? Or something like that.

Yes we supported him based on what he told us, then he changed his mind and pleaded guilty.

On the basis we sacked him previously and the circumstances haven't changed it would be one hell of a U-turn.

As I recall he changed his plea on lawyers advice because had he pleaded innocent and subsequently found guilty, he could have gone to jail.

As a footballer yes, he's a decent player. As said above though, his criminal record means we won't go anywhere near him again. (Rightly so)

I was very proud of the club for sacking him on the spot when he plead guilty. I hope he goes somewhere where we don't have to think about him or see Rovers playing against him ever again.
