Probably the worst hour of radio since the BBC came into existence.

Top of the list were the totally deluded and brain dead Owls fans. They are all now praising their joker of an owner. This is the guy who through financial mismanagement literally got the club relegated. Now they are winning a few games with a wage bill of £20m in League One, they have forgotten all about his horrific reign of terror at Swillsborough.

General tenor was Radio Sheffield moaning about not getting interviews with the Sheff Utd and Rovers owners.

Got to say, we didn’t put up our best and brightest as callers to the show.

Take it you'll be at the next meet the owners event to ask all your questions? no?

Chris.Whilst I may not agree with all the comments of the two Donny fans who called in, at least they did so. I listened to the recording of it after you raised the issue. I generally find the presenters of this programme willing to challenge callers & hear their responses, which is TOTALLY unlike some people on this site who aren’t prepared to answer perfectly simple & civil questions. I go on RS on a regular basis, use my real name & I’m happy to be challenged on what I say.

Jeez, what a waste of an hour!

The one caller who doesn't know what David Blunt looks like has obviously never been to a MTO event then?

There’s the problem Martin unless all supporters go to MTO meeting which they can’t not enough space then they would not know what David Blunt looks like.
If they are one of the minimum like you and I on this forum we will know about the meetings and make a choice whether to attend. Then will know what he looks like but will not recognise his voice because he hardly speaks.
I thought the VSC was there to represent the majority of supporters so let’s not put down someone who has phoned whether you agree with that person or not.

You're missing my point though Steve.

The callers to the radio programme criticised the club and owners for not being visual and for not talking to the supporters. And yet the club operate two Meet The Owners events each year and have done for a number of years now.

So the question is, if they hold these events but supporters either can't attend or don't want to attend then where does the blame lie? You can't criticise the club for a supporter not being able to attend can you?

As for the VSC, I fail to see your point. Every-time I post something on here is it meant to be an official VSC statement? Am I not entitled to a personal opinion? Your making my life more difficult than it already is!

Maybe the solution would be to have 2 accounts? A vsc one and a personal one.

In future MTO events would it be too much trouble to set up a live feed so that people who aren't able to attend still have the option to at least watch??

No need to apologise, but they usually stream all the MTO events and also make them available to watch later.

Hello Hello !! "haven't heard that phrase little old Donny Rovers for a while" :police:  .......

Have started downloading the show to have in the background when working  so the time isn't that wasted as one thinks what planet are these callers are on.

A good title for the the program would be the "um " show   when Moore was Rovers manager his favourite word was "um"   but Grigg surpased all Moores "ums" in his interview last week  by starting every answer with "um" .       There was alot of "ums" last night

and that woman was on for was it the 3rd night in a row  talking nothing .. one night she was wordshipping  the "alleged" "fake" "Prince"  "allegedly" with "no money" not so last night . (reminds me of a certain serial poster on this site who posts for postings sake)

...  by chance the other day Mrs Coleman mentioned bin Laden was the 17th of 52 children "sired" by his father

which made CLH wonder just how many Princes there are in Saudi Arabia

"The royal ruling family of Saudi Arabia includes up to 15,000 members, including 4000 princes, who serve in an array of governing positions, at the heads of businesses and on advisory councils. The current king, Salman, is the sixth son of Ibn Saud rule after coming to power in 2015"

the phrase "every ones a winner comes to mind"

which begs the question "when is a Prince not a Prince ?"

One thing CLH never wants is some "Sand Country" getting involved with DRFC  does anyone agree ?

I have been to three of these meetings and from what i have seen and witnessed anyone who asks a question they dont like he gets shouted  down by strategically placed stooges at the back and after a bit of organised commotion  the question then gets forgotten and passed by job done stooges  as not to get answered  the meetings are a joke as is the way the club are becoming .
