I hate all this harking back to how shit we were nearly half a century ago. It’s really not relevant. We are a completely different beast in football terms to those days. No, we don’t have a god given right to be playing at this level, but the club infrastructure now is one which should support league 1 football and above.

It’s like the reference to 97/98. It’s chalk and cheese and shouldn’t be used as an excuse or get out clause for the total mismanagement of the last 12 months.

Yeah we can't start worrying about the club until Baldwin is trying to burn the stadium down....

Like saying 6 million years ago humans were hunted by sabre tooth tigers and the average life expectancy was 8 years so we should all bear that in mind when complaining about modern life's challenges.
