Gone on loan to Rochester New York which is franchise were Jamie Vardy is a minority share holder.  They will be playing in the new MLS Next Pro league which is being set up as a lead in to the MLS league. Rochester is the only independent team all others are linked to MLS teams.

His contract is up this summer with us, so he won’t be coming back after the loan ends.

Had to laugh at the following.....

NAME: Ed Williams

PRONUNCIATION: w-ILL-y-um-z

In fairness Hound, he isn't moving to New York City. Rochester is a city in New York State, it's over 300 miles away from the bright lights and Times Square.

Akin to the distance between Doncaster and the Belgian city of Brugges.

Rochester has an annual international Jazz festival. Perhaps that's why Williams has gone.

May explain the issue with the previous manager. Wellens was probably Trad. Williams has the air of Bebop about him.

Cheers RA for that info.

Well done for getting that gig & good luck, did we get convinced by the you tube of him because he offered absolute zero to our team, way way above his level.

As graingrover said on another thread, it’s often through football that you find new friends & experience different cultures.

On you go Ed.
