Can't say I'm surprised. He was calling them cowards most weeks.

Danny Cowley now 2nd fav at 5/1

Not sacked yet at Pompey.  Maybe it’s imminent. Or he is going to resign if offered Wombles job.

So they are going to bring in an experienced manager to endeavour to get them out of trouble.

I wonder how long it will take them to appoint someone?

Wimbledon have appointed a manager not one of those mentioned but Mark Bowen with Eddie Niedzwiecki as his assistant. He managed Reading 2019/2020 and took them from 23rd to 14th in the Championship. When we need to replace GMC. can we act as fast. Forget the process and get the man we need.

Not everyone in any work profession will take a job , due to lots of things one of the main ones being location. Would anyone on here up root thier family and move 100+ miles away for a job that may only last a year or just wait for one to become available closer to home. I can’t imagine Mark Bowen being short of a few quid, he’s been involved in football for over 30 years

Putting aside how dreadful we are and have been for 18 months now, there are only 92 league clubs and lots of out of work managers. Getting a league job even with a club with a terrible recent record like we have, is a prized asset.
