....have just announced recently retired Scott Brown as their new boss. Bit of a left field appointment. It'll be interesting to see how they do under him in his first managerial job.

Their chairman seems to have a liking for “spikey” characters

He could bring in some good loan players from north of the border.

Thought they were all Rovers and other similar Clubs "cast offs" up there as it seems to be Championship or Div 1 standard

Apart from Rangers and Celtic of course ... but even Rangers have Lundstram though.

He will bring good contacts but as the above poster mentions lacks experience etc.
It’s a shot in the dark. Of course everybody has to start somewhere. I wouldn’t think he would come cheap and will be very ambitious and will require good funding for players. Hard one to call, I think it could be a good appointment going on gut feelings.

He’s a winner and that can go one of 2 ways, inspires the team or ends up like Roy Keane expecting more than the players abilities can provide

It might not be so bad for him DVR, after all he has spent most of his career playing against L1 standard players so he will know their limitations.

That should be the case however it depends on his ego I suppose

i didn't twig who he was til today then i saw him with some hair and would never have recognized him but for the caption. He actually now looks "normal" --  not allegedly "like an animal out 4 trbl"
