He wouldn't be the right fit at Rovers , he's a very divisive character is Keith .

A manager with his best days behind him too .

There was a time where you'd say yes but recently he's lost his mind.

I always get tempted by Tisdale because of his Exeter time but he's another whose not been great since

Funnily enough I think that Hill could have kept us up last season had he come in when Wellens left. He would have shaken up the dressing room with his, ahem, inimitable style and he'd have made a few savvy signings in January.

All utterly irrelevant now. That ship's sailed. I think that going to Scunthorpe was a huge mistake for him. Can't help but feel that if he'd hung around then a better L1/L2 opportunity would have come his way.

Keith falls out with people very quickly .

He took the gig at Oakwell knowing full well Patrick Cryne was giving him next to nothing to keep us in the championship .

For a while he got a tune out of his free transfer and lower league players and discovered one of the best forward players I've seen in relatively recent years in Ricardo Vaz Te who arrived on trial .

However it wasn't to last , the very next season we started poorly and it didn't take long for Keith to start moaning in the press about the budget , we got rinsed one night at Blackburn and he was moaning about how unfair it was that Blackburn had Jordan Rhodes and we didn't .

Not a great look , never his fault and then he started on our fans , like getting rinsed at home by Wednesday a point better off than us isn't going to attract criticism .

He was gone by December in his second season .

Was he sacked or did he resign?

The relationship between Keith and the Oakwell hierarchy had completely broke down Raven .

He was sacked by text message following a home defeat to Blackburn Rovers .

Not great on our part I have to say but does show what a divisive character Keith is .

Would anyone fancy rovers trying to bring Des Buckingham in if we parted ways with GMS at some point in the season?
Young English manager who has been in management for a number of years. Albeit spent most of time in Australia and New Zealand but came through at Oxford. Worked under chris wilder and has been highly thought of wherever he has been.
Likes his teams to play attractive passing football and his teams to press the opposition. Its whether rovers could tempt him to leave his role in Mumbai where he seems to be happy, maybe the challenge of turning this club around and move back up the leagues might be tempting.

I could be wrong but I think he was in the running for the Palace job the same time as Viera was. May be a couple of levels above us.
