That's just a bloody joke. I booked my seat on the coach weeks ago, but assumed there'd be plenty of time before Sep 10th to get a match ticket.

694? Don't Hartlepool want gate receipts?

Since Bradford, I'm just not meant to see an away game. I had to get a f*cking refund for my Wimbledon train tickets.

P*ssed off doesn't even come close at the moment.
wimbledon was no where near sold out? Loads of spare seats..

I know, Adam. The trains were on strike, and the coaches were sold out.

That was the reason I couldn't get.

I have 1 spare adult ticket dm me if interested

Daniel, I don't know if it's because you're a newbie, but it won't let me PM you.

I honestly don't know how to get round this.

I’ve just tried didn’t go as far as sending anything but it looked ok - happy to act as an intermediary (no fee lol)

I think I have read on here that a newbie can’t send or receive PMs until they have made about a dozen posts.

Thanks for the help and encouragement here, guys, I really appreciate it.

I've a feeling I'll get one somehow in the next week, even though I'm a negative thinking guy.

Yabadabadoo.

A guy on our coach has dropped out, so I've got his ticket.

A big thanks to all of you that have been keeping an eye out for me, it's much appreciated.

See you all at Hartlepool.

If anyone hears of any tickets going give us a shout, one adult ticket will do.

Only been once before, my memory is shite but even I remember a 6-0 away win, Lee Turnbull hat-trick ;-)

Anyone else going up on the train to this one? Noticed there's no seats on the direct ones left from York to Hartlepool already.

not sure you can book seats on that service anyway,we did look at going on train but the price between donny and york is pretty dear for a 20 min journey unless you try hiding lol,

Real weird one isn't it. 20 quid in that leg. 16 on the York to Hartlepool service for 45 minutes longer. Honestly train prices v Europe are ridiculous

It's £9,872 a year for an annual season between Swindon and Paddington. Stick the tube on that and it becomes £10,668. It's 69 miles between the two stations. Takes 40 minutes these days. Allegedly it's the most expensive railway line in Europe. Market pricing rules... Sod the customers. Those two principles are very evident in the discussions above. Railways are not a service.

Train ticket prices can depend upon where the route crosses different regions.  If you travel some distance, say over 3 regions, it is often much cheaper to buy 3 individual tickets for each region - even staying on the same train at the stations which border the regions - than buying one ticket for the whole journey.  The trick is knowing which stations on your route border the regions!

Before all the franchising of train operators, the ticket office staff at your local station would advise on the cheapest tickets etc.

For example, a few years ago I needed to do a day trip to London from Stamford changing at Peterborough.  On the booking website I selected the journey times to allow for the Peterborough-London leg being off-peak.  Including travelcard the cost for a return was just over £100.  I then looked at booking Stamford-Peterborough return and Peterborough-London return - on exactly the same trains each leg - and the total cost was less than £40.  Go figure.

Game rearranged for Tuesday 4th October at 7.45pm.

Will this be on ifollow to watch now being it is now on a Tuesday night and not a Saturday?

I always thought that games on a saturday at 3pm couldn't be wacthed on ifollow? According to the rovers website, ifollow section, the Crawley home game upcoming at 3pm on a saturday has live video coverage for £10.

Are there international games at the same time as Crawley? If so that's why.

The Hartlepool game I am sure won't be with it being a game penned in originally on a Saturday. This is from past experience
