He really needs to work on his distribution. The general consensus (true as well) is that Williams is poor on the ball. His pass completion this season is 82%. Bobby’s is 68%. That’s in a league where you have all the time in the world on the ball.

That only tells so much, more often than not Williams takes the easy option
Not often you can mess up a pass back to the keeper
I think the point is he has a lot of raw attributes to be very good. The question is how well he can develop on his weaknesses. The positive for me is that he seems to be aware of them and that's half the battle. Two key things he needs to improve for me are his ability to win headers and his passing. Get them right and he'll be a very good player as he's good in the tackle. If he can get better on the ball he could end up as a defensive midfielder I think. He's very good in the tackle and quite mobile. I can see why he could move to that role.
Anderson will start the next game , and hope Faulkner partners him at the back ,I just don't see what the manager see in Williams he looks clumsy and scared when the ball is at his feet he never looks composed
Pace last night shown by the Rangers player Fashion jnr who whipped past Tsimikas and pulled a lovely ball back but no supporting player. Wasn't Tsimikas booked for trying to haul him back every time? That's the sort of pace with an end product, scared the living daylights out of the full back
