Great interview. I think Copps has recognised the limits we have and tried to implement what he thinks is the best structures to fit those limit. Incredible to think this is the same shaggy, bleach blonde haired lad from all those years ago.

I think he means it was about a month after he left Hudds, which was around 14th Sept I believe. You're right that it sounded like he was contacted a month ago, but listen again and he's talking about what he did in the time after he left Hudds, and it was about a month. etc.

COPS, And I don’t mean a wooded glade!.

It doesn’t seem nice to have people contacting possible managers, especially while one is still contracted. That being said it’s the way of the football world. We have been lagging behind for years in those respects. It’s nice that the club got who they wanted in a timely fashion. He had a reasonable start at Crewe. Let’s see what he can achieve.
