Time flies when you are listening to Lisa Nandy on "The World at One"

Yes as you will all recall I lost my money when I backed Lisa to became "LeaderESS" of the opposition.  so much for my "insider information"

I have just listened to todays interview on "The World at One" withe her.

Firstly she mentions    12 years of a Conservatve Government  (surprise surprise)

then a couple of minutes later  she mentions 13 years of a Conservative Government

either "tempus fugit"  ( time flies to the plebs) and i must have been listening for over a year 

or "inflation" has turned the "12" into "13"


If she can't even get the length of the Tory Government correct 

then perhaps "Starmer" ought to put one of his plasters "OVER HER MOUTH"

It's  12 years and 240 days since the Govt was formed after the 2010 election.

There've been 12 full years since then. We are more than halfway through the 13th year.

Of all the things that might get someone riled about the state of our politics in early 2022, I had this one quite a long way down my list.

Thanks for giving the  "alleged" "definitive" answer.  ( Starmer said 13 later on in the program).

The woman deserved to have the pi$$ taken out of her.. I was actually working at at the time and heard waffle waffle (as both parties do) then twelve then thirteen  . She stopped me working and I replayed it to see if I had misheard her,


Usually as you know (being a keen follower of mine  ) I highlight on here the continual errors (wrong score - wrong team playing etc) on here.

You of all people in your "business" should know about the "tolerance" of a product you produce. 
as  for the tolerance you want to allow her on  12 years that's 8.5%   (either way !!??)-- just admit it was a "bloomer" and an undefensable gaff.

seeing you posted your reply at 1-18 pm i will give you the benefit of the doubt that you posted it in your lunch break .... and didn't do it in "works time" whilst you staff are "slaving away". What would your staff think if they knew you were continually "peddling away" on here in works time

PS. I would love to know who "higher up in chain" controls your "information database"
