We are absolutely not stronger than we were at Christmas. In fact we are weaker. This window has confirmed everything I need to know about the board. Something has to give soon, surely

It could be that if Whiteman gets sold, then we have one final shot at transforming maybe not just this season but the next few seasons. I’m frankly terrified about how we would use this money if it did appear.

Our wage bill must have reduced. If not then who has been leading the negotiations?!

How can you have time off to work with the players, in training and they come back worse, than the last game you played?

It's a good question, but it appears to keep happening when we have any kind of extended break.

Blunt (his words must be weighing him down Bounce Back Decisively) and Bramall according to DFP at the game today the decision makers the purse string owners are they going to allow funds to bring in better players . Or are they going to continue with average mediocrity heading down the league. Now in 15th

Giving our recruitment team more money to sign players is like voting Brexit because you want our own government to make our laws.

It'll be a waste of that money.

I genuinely dont think it would be used to strengthen the squad.

But you can only get players the money you have allow.
Can you pay good loan fees for good loans
Can you pay undisclosed fees and wages for players.
Or do you do the best you can with money you have. For me I would do nothing if we can’t afford the players they want.

Tomlin, Knoyle and Clayton gone and we were told budget was kept for the January window, you reckon that's been spent from this shambles (again!) of a window?

For me, it’s alarming how many hidings we are getting on a consistent basis at this level. It’s utterly embarrassing. We had plenty last year, but for the trend to continue a league below is simply inexcusable.

I commented on the lucky ping after the first goal I thought we’d lose 3-0. The 3 goal margin proved to be correct, albeit we got one. It’s so ridiculously predictable it’s untrue

Sustainability doesn't always equal successful.

Unfortunately the club are only interested in the first.

If we can be successful as well - that's a bonus.

But not at the risk of the first.

Do you believe we can compete with other league 2 sides paying a fee and bringing quality players we haven’t so what makes you think the money that was is available is good enough the evidence so far is it isn’t

It's all OK cos Baldwin put out a good financial statement in early January! So much for the state of performances om the pitch! They didn't get too much of a mention did they in Baldwins statement that the happy clappers were quick to laud on here!
