People are saying Sutton will struggle this season. A signing like that won't help.

Good luck to him, always put a shift in when with us, granted wasn’t what we needed at that time

To his credit he is albeit slowly and falteringly working his way up the leagues. Omar is doing the exact opposite.

We certainly could do with a player of his ilk with the physical attributes

and it ain't that long til August 6th

he scored 9 in 35 for Wrexham last season remember his striking partner cost a mere £300,000 from AFC Wimbledon (yes Prince Charles former bodyguard's son   (another excuse to get that useless fact in )

but the one below is much more interesting -- if subbed against us he will be pretty damn quick getting off the pitch

On 20 January, he was sent off for a second bookable offence in a 0–0 draw at Doncaster Rovers after showing a delayed response to being substituted – "Magpies" manager Shaun Derry was also dismissed for protesting the decision; assistant manager Greg Abbott theorised that referee Richard Clark had not realised Thomas had already been booked when he initially showed the yellow card.[9

Magpies are Notts County. It is some years since we played them isnt it.

Notts County assistant boss Greg Abbott believes referee Richard Clark may not have sent off Kwame Thomas against Doncaster if he realised the striker had already been booked.

Thomas was cautioned for leaving the pitch too slowly in Tuesday's 0-0 draw.

But Clark only realised it was a second yellow when Thomas was in the dugout having been replaced by Billy Daniels.

"In hindsight the ref - maybe - would have thought twice if he had known," Abbott told BBC Radio Nottingham.

"In defence of the referee, if he had realised it was his second one he would have run over and ushered him off without the card. I have never seen a sending off like that.

"But once he has shown the yellow he has no alternative, so he has to go."

Yeah he was involved in the sending off for Notts County
The player being subbed off got his second yellow for time wasting

What was the year? Must have been 2017/18 season. Would that be right.
County were relegated that season. I am guessing here.

I do remember Abbott making a fuss about a sending off. Did not realise it was Kuame Thomas that was involved.

Kwame has now moved on to Dundee in the Scottish second tier, on loan until end of the season, which I think is when his contract at Sutton United ends. He made 13 appearances in total for them and 0 goals.
