Just trying to find a little positive from yesterday and thought both of these 2 actually had a good game especially Hurst who looked dangerous when running at the defenders and took his goal very well. Him and maxwell seem to be linking up well down the left and can only be good for us.Now the negative part.If Hurst does continue to improve and we finish outside of the play offs. Do we think there is a chance that a league1 club could potentially come in to take him away? Would the board consider offers or would they put up a not for sale sign on him. Personally i think the board would have the pen ready to sign on the dotted line if they feel they are making a bit of profit. And then try to kid us all that the funds would be invested back into the playing squad
He needs to learn how to do the hard dirty work better , like tackling , being a nuisance and stronger on the defensive side of his game , far to lightweight at the moment IMO.

I think we've had this scenario before, if we start wan or expect players like Hurst to learn to tackle, become stronger in the defensive side of their game do we risk loosing the play that he's actually in the side to do, remember a players like him could try his hardest and still be crap at tacking and look like an 8 stone weakling. But when he drops a shoulder, turns a defender inside and out and score some spectacular goals like he has done that side soon gets booted right to the back of everyone's minds.I'd say just encourage him to become even more unpredictable and unplayable when he's on it, that would pay us the biggest dividends.Quick word on Maxwell, he continues to get better with more matches, and the team setup suits him well, could be a very shrewd signing for us.

We need 11 grafters out there fighting and scrapping for every ball, and that is something we haven't got at the moment.IMOPerhaps he will be better suited in a L1 top six side.
