Ravenhill Tackle on 41 mins
« on March 21, 2023, 08:39:46 pm by Butchers Red »
Won a 5-95 challenge in the middle of the park clean as a whistle.

Best challenge by a Rovers midfielder in 3 seasons.

Great ball in from Close and finish from Lavery...........

That half was absolutely shite! Feel sorry for those who have travelled.

Why can’t we take a decent throw in? Why can’t we show some strength (except from the above). Why can’t we keep it in the oppositions half for more than 4 passes?

Lucky to get the goal but a well taken/routine freekick.

He's got a long way to go to make it. Then again so have most of this team.

Thought he actually looked alright in the first half, looked to play forward and obviously not afraid to put a tackle in. I’d give him more game time between now and the end of the season.

He ought to demonstrate it a bit more to Close - absolutely No commitment from him just stood and watched their guy shoot when they scored-absolutely scared of putting his foot in

Close must have the name most unlike any description you would give him. He isn’t close, not even in the same stratosphere as his opponent.

not just close but seen it a lot recently from others too where they press someone but as soon as they get to them they just stop and let them pass the ball. Was one yesterday where brown pressed their left back and he just stopped and let him pass back to the keeper instead of going to win the ball because if he had won the ball molyneux was on his own in the middle.
