I'd give it to Olowu just for the sheer fact that when the players come out he claps the fans like he means it, the rest doe it in the most sulking way. If he can ever get a clean run from injury he has bags of potential.

I would make a statement by saying this season we aren’t picking a player because nobody deserves it.

Maxwell, it’s no coincidence that we’ve been horrendous since he got injured.

Probably Kyle Hurst. A lot has been asked of him in his rookie season, probably more than anyone expected, and while he's struggled at times he's also provided many of the few bright spots we've had. Think he could have a big future for us as he physically fills out.

Tomlin without his creativity in the early part of the season we wouldn’t have scored goals and got the points from games where we looked outplayed and we would have been staring at relegation now.

Rio Spurr

Think his cameo at half time was the best entertainment we have had at home all season.
Grimsby away only game when I thought we looked like a team that really meant business.
Yes and we have had 44 league games. One diabolical FA cup game and can’t even remember who knocked us out of the League Cup. That one must have been a cracker of a game as well.

Yes give it to Rio Spurr.  :that:

OK - we know it's been shite. And we know most would say none of them. But who would be your player of the season and why?

Please answer positively.
Are you serious my fellow CR.
How can you ask us to vote for a player of the year after what we have seen this season.

Young player of the year for 21 yr olds and under.
Hirst and Faulkner joint winners Maxwell 2nd

Best entertainment in the few he played, well only entertainment was Tomlin.

Seriously the rest have steadily got worse as the season has gone on.

I know stats aren’t everything but is anything published that rates individual players by passing accuracy, successful challenges, distance covered etc Would be interesting to see  who comes out best on these.

The only silver lining this season are the younger players, and I include Goodman in that, Hurst and Faulkner are the two who have been the most used examples and have done very well mostly in spite of not exactly being used to to the best of their ability, especially positional wise, and have had something of a stop start season  being the first ones seemingly to fall out of favour, while others playing no better are seemingly thought better of by the management team and in spite of short comings play most weeks.
Olowu has been a big miss, as has the experience of Anderson, Faulkner coming from Askern Welfare/ Fishlake juniors in two years and not 19 yrs old until August has come a long way in 18 months, Hurst one of the few good scouting acquisitions in the last few years by our club and moving up from the midlands, both deserve the accolade.

Olowu, strong and tenacious, looks like he really gives a sh*t about wearing the shirt. Love it when he plays.

My thoughts exactly

Definitely Lee Tomlin the only outstanding player this season but having only played a handfull of games would not be a fair pick. No one else a truly obvious choice but it would be between Olowu and Hurst for me but in Hursts case his potential seems to have been stifled by the coaching and Olowu has been injured for too long to really stake the claim. So no one imho.

There are a lot of very strong contenders for the crap player of the season award mind.

Would have to probably say Hurst.

His form dropped off a cliff after January but this is his first season in mens football

Not sure why Faulkner would be up there? Good prospect but player of the season? Only run in the team he has had has been our worst spell for results and conceding goals?

I find it difficult enough to think of any player worthy of "Man of the match" never mind the season, they all have nil points from me.

People are allowed to have a an opinion Raven, but as you well know yourself there are a lot of supporters who know FA about football but still enjoy the game.
Didn't want to disappoint you buddy.
