Odds for the Newport game
« on April 19, 2023, 09:19:27 am by normal rules »
The madness of rovers’ predicament is perfectly displayed in the odds for the next game .
Rovers at home against a team below them in the league . Similar points.
And yet rovers are 9/4 for the win with Newport at 23/20 , nearly even money .
But that’s what happens when you are rock bottom of the form table . An interesting conundrum for punters .
County are 8th in the last 6 played form table

Never ever thought I would hope we lose but I’m at the point that if it helps in getting rid of DS then I do

This is the danger the club are sleepwalking into . Fans frustrations, disappointment and anger will turn and is turning to apathy.

I've invested 50p on Newport leading HT and Rovers winning FT at 33 to 1

And the more likely Rovers HT Newport FT at 28 to 1

Shouldn't be a 0 0 draw

Rovers FT AND Newport FT. ? Should this be rovers HT?

28-1 is decent value, throw in Bogle to score?

I'm surprised Rovers are 9/4 for a win, yesterday they started at 9/1 and after 20 minutes were 66/1 against, bookies know a dead cert and offer stupid odds to get the gullible to bet on that side. 9/4 is really a ridiculous price, I would reckon a good 10/1 against a win would be better value as odds, but I still would bet a penny on Rovers doing anything at the moment.

Anyone thinking DS will be sent his P45 if we lose is deluded. At the best it will be the end of the season at the worst he will still be in post in August

After a barren spell (3 in 30) big Omar is running in to some form again. He has 3 in his last 4 games.

He's scored again tonight. Given he is playing for a poor side, his 13 league goals in 43 league games is a decent return.

Thought I would lose both bets as Rovers looked to be heading for a rare double , but we were up at HT then of course lost

As their second Goal hit the net it offered me £12.07 "cash out" which I did .

Will do same bet v CUFC

25/1 CU HT/FY

33/1 Rovers HT / FT

So bookies don't fancy us doing it as more possible than them . Not surprised

Man City tonight same bet 20/1
Arsenal 40/1

Had a nibble at that

Man City is 20/1 to lead at half time and full time?!

That looks excellent value at home.

Surely not! I’d have expected City/City to be just over evens.

Those odds can’t be right. On skybet city to be winning at ht and ft is 11/8. Arsenal are 17/2 for the same.

No NR deffo right

Usually any game odds are round 25 to 1 to be leading HT and lose at FT.

Arsenal are high at 40s and it is Sky Bet as well

I could be watching the match on Bt sports but have better things to do (like being on here  :suicide: ) anyhow it's 1-0 to the
the home team

Manchester City 1 Manchester City Rejects 0   comes off the tongue nicely. :)

He's scored again tonight. Given he is playing for a poor side, his 13 league goals in 43 league games is a decent return.

And again. 14 from 43 now.

Another today. 15 from 44 I think. Probably his best league season ever.

Didnt Bogle get about 25 same season when we last got promoted from league 2?

Yes, you are right. I thought that was National League but it was 19 goals in League Two for Grimsby Town in 2016/17.
