It was interesting listening to Evans being interviewed after achieving promotion today. Basically said they kept their best 6 players from last season (they finished 21st) and added to the squad last summer.

Now id be shocked if they had a top half budget for this season.

Point is they obviously have been very shrewd in the transfer market ( which we are most certainly not) and have an astute manager.

Shows what can be done with just a bit of nous, and love him or loath him, you cant fault him as a lower league manager who gets the best out of his resources.

Just to add slightly off topic , hope MK Dons don't get relegated next weekend .

For 70 minutes they looked anything but relegation fodder today .

Really impressed with them today , that's one club coming down from league one who will contend next season .

The other potential candidates shouldn't concern you so much .

Exactly what needs to happen here, but they have a manager who despite being a Kitson, is an absolute winner.
