So glad we don't have to waste more time and energy on Sodexo.

Tomorrow's chip paper.

It's also a pity the DFP chose not to focus the headline on Sodexo and left the detail of Sodexo being history in the finer print.

These burgers were served up at ALL their contracted outlets, not just DRFC.

I bought a burger & onions from the Catering van on Saturday which was lovely. I don't know the extent of the new catering but I hope the choice from the outside catering vans continue.

The last burger I bought was at Bradford City a few years ago. I can't comment on the quality of it because there wasn't a burger in it! I just got a bread roll with onions.

The chicken balti pukka pie is the nicest take out pie I've ever had...  , But of course they only warm it up,  you'd think they couldn't mess that up, oh yea, sometimes it's burnt lol

I’m hoping the club take charge of it themselves. These outside companies can’t be relied on. Do it yourself then you know it’s done right.

The pie boxes at Stockport were superb, wish we could do something like that. People are more likely to bring their friends if the food is good.

Letting catering standards lapse is another sign of poor leadership. The Chairman has so much to answer for. You wonder what the CEO is doing too. Has he let things slide?

The club had no control over the catering

No they absolutely do, they chose to stick it out until the contract expired and will now go elsewhere.  That's fine but they could have escaped if chosen to.

Where have you been for the last 10 years? This has been done to death as S_M and many others know through all the effort to try and hold the caterers to account. It's more a tail of corporate mismanagement with the catering firms buying others out and paying lip service to standards. The 10 year contract had it's financial advantages but, hindsight tells us there were too many management restructures/buy outs to help continuity of service and any improvements stick for long.

The balti pie is the only food I will order, if its sold out then I don't bother with anything else

Come off it man. Highly likely just shit contract management but BFYP said they will surely have had clauses. If they didn't have control over it then that's even worse...

I’d love to see the stalls get leased to local businesses for match and event days; maybe too admin heavy for the club though.

Don't think we have the fan base to rent them out to local businesses and for them to make money

It would be a step up if we saw continuity behind the Counters

Personally in the West Stand I have never noticed the same person twice in a row

With continuity things would get faster. As part of the meetings mentioned elsewhere it was suggested that we would / could get Club Doncaster personnel as Staff members so they and we bought into it's concept " and owned it "

That never happened and changing the Catering regime now may facilitate another look , another chance for it to be considered

Must be a bind having to train new people every single week in everything only for them never to be seen again

Vending machines, with a couple of people in each stand to keep them topped up, and yes there are companies that supply/rent hot food vending machines

I remember back in the good old championship days... Burger vans outside the ground every 100 yards... Those were the days

Probably cost more for a pitch from the council than anyone would make with current attendances

Yes , again touted by me quite a few times

Once went to Darlos new Ground v Wycombe.

Attendance 3001

Tea bars etc doing a good trade but still they had Vending Machines for Coffees etc which spend everything up

Costa ones Dish up good stuff so give them a go

Continuity of staff might change next season. (hopefully) This season the catering company coach staff in from West Yorkshire for every game.

Yes ... They must do.

I spent my last 10 years driving from here to Kings Lynn Gretna Falkirk and more to Induct sometimes just one Temp Employee

Centreplate would be shot with s**t if they didn't induct their workers in what they need to know including Fire , Electrical , Safe Systems of Work etc

That's before they let them loose around boiling water , hot fat and Food hygiene.

I know you were probably jesting but bet what I just summarized is a mile longer than my list  lol
