There was criticism of journalists giving Schofield an easy time and I put in a word for Leon Wobschall of the Yorkshire Post and the DFP’s Paul Goodwin who probably convinced the hierarchy at the club that those on here were not just a vocal minority.

They deserve credit and thanks.

Absolutely ridiculous!

I can assure you that this never happened.

I have noticed, Silent Majority, that you seem able to summarily (and often dismissively) put down so many of the theories advanced on here about the inner workings of the club’s management. In your role as a fans’ representative, it is equally surprising that you provide so little feedback. If you are involved enough to know what is not true, why do you not disclose the truth behind so many of the issues about which we speculate?

With such intimate knowledge you must know more than has so far been published about what is happening in the appointment of the new manager and whether the HoFO role is being reassessed. I wonder what views on this you have expressed on behalf of the supporters?

Oh but I do, its just that some of you fail to see the points I've made.

But this could be a long discussion. I get those who don't believe what I say, I get those who state that I lie, I get those who claim I don't represent them et etc etc.

And now you want me to tell you everything that's going on in the club when I don't even know who you are.

But if you feel that you know what my responsibility as a 'fans rep' is then go ahead, lets hear it.
Who do you represent ?

The VSC
So you don't represent all fans, just a tiny fraction of the fan base?

Do we have anyone who represents the whole fan base ?

This is a very familiar argument, just different user name

It's a strange argument as well though Filo. Is claiming to represent the VSC somehow diminishing? Is it that my opinion is not as valid as someone else's? They never quite put their argument in terms that we are meant to understand.

When I was Dep Chair of the FSF I represented over 800,000 football supporters but even then I didn't claim to represent all supporters, just someone who understands the arguments better.

My point is that you say your a fans rep, but yet the more accurate description would be vsc rep.

Which is fine now you've cleared up who you represent.

Although I genuinely don't understand your prickly demeanour that comes across on here.
Andy liney for instance was very accomadating and never argumentative despite having questions thrown at him left right and centre.

Ah, there's your first big mistake, I don't call myself anything, not least of which is 'fans rep'.

And I think I knew Andy far better than you do/did.

OK, but it doesn't really matter what your calling or not calling yourself.

What matters is what you do, how you do it and who you represent.

This is getting pathetic. It's like kids in a school playground. Yeh but my dad's bigger than your dad.

I post on here as me, nothing more nothing less, and what I do, say or how I do it is totally irrelevant

It was, but a certain poster seems hell bent on having an argument.

Unlike the vast majority of us, SM has done much more than just sit in front of a keyboard on this forum writing posts about how the club should be run. He's got off his backside and put himself in the middle, and therefore the firing line of both the club owners and us supporters.

To say it is a task that most of us would run a mile from is an understatement.

Joined in late April this year, only 54 posts yet you seem to remember how Andy Liney posted?

Hmmmm.

Not sure why my only recent joining of this forum matters in regards to knowing how a previous poster posted.

You don't need to be a member to be able to read the posts!

Hmmmmmm
