Problem is Bailey is our best centre half and defensive midfielder. Do you strengthen the midfield in front, or let teams through onto the defence . Kevin Stewart is a good option for defensive midfield. Released by Blackpool, good experience. Would e a good signing for us.

I'm not sure players released from clubs is the market we should be looking at, they're released for a reason, either approaching the end of their playing days or not cutting it for whatever reason.  Looking at those types increases the likelihood of us picking up duds.  We've had enough of those to last a lifetime.

Not always, Blackpool play at a higher level than us. Stewart hasn’t played much football if any in league two. If he still has the fitness and wants to continue as a pro footballer, league two would be easier than the championship or league one. Worth a look on a trial.

Talking about free transfers, Marcello Trotta, the guy who missed the penalty against us, in that mad game a few moons ago. Is available on a free transfer and is still only thirty one years old, thought he would be older.

Well he definitely aged a bit after that penalty!

Hey, good shout that.  Not many of our players have their own song these days but Trotter would already have one.
