Taylor Richards if we are talking loanees. Billy or Heffs for contracted players.

What about Ramsey from Villa if we are talking recent loanees

Ian Snodin is the best DRFC player in my Rovers watching years since 1980.

Duggie would have been perfect for this team, at this level,

I'd take Sharp any day of the week

Surprised no one has mentioned McIndoe though, I think he would absolutely thrive under GM style.

McIndoe never had a bad game,  never got injured. Absolute machine turning out 8/10+ performances every game. Top player for us. Absolutely criminal we got buttons for him.

Laurie Sheffield actually scored more than Alick during their partnership. They were a sublime combination. Sheffield's heading ability was also top-notch.

Can't think of many signings which generated such hype. And he lived up to it!

Having McIndoe down the left was like having two players for the price of one, he was effective going both ways, the work rate and effort he put into his play was phenomenal

Yes I said McIndoe in an earlier post, a great player and as another said always played well, and made a vast difference to the club at the time my reason for going for him, that does not mean to say that I think he is the best player we have had over my 72 years of supporting the team, Alick as a youngster would take some beating at the very top clubs he was a world class player in the making up with any household name if injury had not played its part.
One player from the past that would fit the present side and our style of play under Grant is Brendan  O'Callagan, he would lead this front line well.

Of course he was great, but he doesn't have 'eff' in the middle of his name, so he is not strictly an 'eff-in' striker

BR, Elwiss was the better player in my mind, a bit quicker and just as skilful and a more rounded footballer, another through injury who had his career cut short, not knocking Kitchen though, they were both very good.
