In 1997-98 I remember Mark Lawrenson saying how truly awful Brighton were, and the only bright spot was that Rovers were even more awful and might stop Brighton from falling into the Conference. They finished with 35 points which would mean relegation every full season (i.e excepting COVID curtailed season) with two down. In those days of one down only once has second bottom had fewer points.
